Bathrooms, bathing facilities, or shower rooms required to be accessible by 4.1 shall comply with 4.23 and shall be on an accessible route. 4.23.2 Doors. Doors to accessible bathrooms shall comply with 4.13. Doors shall not swing into the floor space required for any fixture. 4.23.3* Clear Floor Space.

Where permitted in Section 1108, in toilet rooms or bathrooms serving Accessible units, water closets designed for assisted toileting shall comply with Section 1110.2.2. 8.
Advisory 402.2 Components. Walking surfaces must have running slopes not steeper than 1:20, see 403.3.Other components of accessible routes, such as ramps (405) and curb ramps (406), are permitted to be more steeply sloped.. Florida requirements of s.553.5041, F.S., incorporated in section 208.3.1 for accessible routes to parking that modify requirements of Chapter 4 must be complied with.
